IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR THE 2018/2019 SEASON

posted Jul 8, 2018, 8:00 AM by ASC Ayr Skating Club   [ updated Jul 9, 2018, 7:38 PM ]

This year, the ASC has revamped our programming to offer our membership the most flexibility at the lowest possible price point. As a result of this a number of our programs have changed. Before registering please take a moment to understand our new program offerings by reading this post and reviewing our new schedule.

NOTE: If you want to see some example scenarios of how our new programs work, there is a detailed document at the bottom of this post.

Why are we changing our programs?
  • Simplified and lower fees (compared to last year) -- lower fees, that wasn't a typo!
  • More flexible schedules for many of our skating groups
  • Changes to skater groupings to make it easier for skaters to progress without having to switch programs mid-season
  • Better align with Skate Canada's modernized program naming
  • Convenience, just one season for many groups -- no need to register for Fall/Winter and again for Spring sessions
