The Ayr Skating Club is proud to have all its programs taught by professional coaches who are specially trained and certified through the Skate Canada National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).
PreCanSkate / Parent & Tot
Ideal for preschoolers and the “new to the ice" skaters. Introduction includes: balance, falling safely, getting up and beginning movements.

CanSkate
CanSkate is Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for beginners of all ages. The curriculum is for all blade sports. When you sign up for CanSkate you will be in a program that focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development.

StarSkate
STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters of all ages to develop fundamental skating skills in the areas of ice dance, free skate, and interpretive skating. Unique in Canada, this program teaches skating skills in a group and/or private lesson format in a progressive and sequential manner, including specifically designed awards and incentives.
Completion of the CanSkate program is a prerequisite to enter the STARSkate program.

Adult Learn to Skate
After a success first season, we've brought this one back!
Why do the kids get to have all the fun? Our Adult & Teem program is designed for ages 13+.
No matter what your skill or comfort level, we’ll meet you where you’re at! We’ll cover basic skills and equip you with fun tools to take your skating to the next level.
